Projects
The New England RC&D Association 2010 Special Projects Fund was intended to provide seed funding for initiatives of the RC&D Councils of New England. Three seed grants were made available to kick-start projects in the following areas:
1) Energy Sustainability
2) Feeding New England
Out of nine applications submitted, the following were chosen to receive funds:
Northern Vermont RC&D in the amount of $1,000.00 for the "Washington County Local Growers Guide" grant.
Eastern Connecticut RC&D in the amount of $500.00 for the "Community Supported Agriculture" grant.
Berkshire-Pioneer RC&D in the amount of $1,500.00 for the "Conference Support for 2010 NEARC&D Conference" grant.
